How’s that for cryptic title. “4 2″ is what I have entitled this image for what is a hopefully obvious reason. The “A or B” is because I will show two versions of the same image and would like to know which you prefer. Here’s the story. I attended a presentation last night by Tony Sweet, he of the workshop I attended back in late October and one heck of a photographer. He also happens to be a Lensbaby “guru” and presented some Lensbaby images during the course of his presentation. I also had [...] Objective: Experiment with IR images for the purpose of taking them beyond the typical IR landscape image; To utilized some of the more creative techniques that I have been using with color images on IR images. And I am finding the Topaz Suite (Adjust, Detail, Clean, Simplify, etc.) to be a marvelous tool for releasing the inner artist in [...] Last winter I was working on a series of rose images in which I tried to capture the emotions/feelings connoted by different color roses. A red rose connotes passion/love while a white rose connotes innocence/purity. Last year’s image were, for the most part, macro/close-up images of single roses.
