Last winter I was working on a series of rose images in which I tried to capture the emotions/feelings connoted by different color roses. A red rose connotes passion/love while a white rose connotes innocence/purity. Last year’s image were, for the most part, macro/close-up images of single roses. While I was at the market yesterday (remember [...] I made a series of color close-up images of a dark pink rose earlier in the week. Try as I may, I just couldn’t get the color to look the way I wanted it. So I finally just gave up. I, on the other hand, tend to wander into the flower cooler rather than the beer cooler and look for candidates to photograph.
