Okay, we’ve been home for a week now so maybe I should take a break from images from our Maine trip and post a few from around here again. With all the stuff that has been going on around here, last night was my first time out locally since late May. Mostly I just wandered along my local stream checking out all the changes that have occurred over the past month. I did stop to make a few images of this Sulphur Potentilla or Cinquefoil, if you prefer. I kinda like the way it turned out.
Image made with my Canon 30D and Sigma 150mm macro lens, tripod-mounted.

I like this very much!
I like it too. You accomplish beautiful backgrounds!
This photo is SO very lovely.
I love how this turned out! It’s perfect!
Another flower I’ve never seen before. The petals remind me of clover.
it’s blooming here too. your “take” on it is so nice, I think I’ve been overlooking a beauty.
Great photo. Checkout my flower clicks at http://picsfoo.blogspot.com/search/label/flowers . Hope you like it.
i have this in my garden and have always wondered what it was… thanks! i’ve never gotten a shot this good of it. i have the darndest (that’s not a word) time with yellow! this is a fine shot!!!
Sweet! Great capture! I love these! I just posted two photos of this species blooming in my garden on the 18th. Yellow, as you may know, is my favorite floral color.
It seems like a friendly flower. It reminds me of a happy, smiling freckle-faced child.
Just beautiful! Again, lots of detail (I especially like those white “hairs”) and lovely blurred BG. Very well done. Lovely portrait!
